Why would I consider personalised gifts by Groovy Glass?
Personalised bridal party gifts are well received because the item is a one off piece designed and made specifically for the recipient. You can design the item with individual personalities in mind, use nicknames and personal messages and tie the gifts in with the theme of your wedding.

What is etched glassware?
Sandblasting is a process which produces a beautiful superior finish that is 100% permanent
and dishwasher safe.Firstly the design is created and a resist is then applied to the area. Any areas which are not to be sandblasted are then masked or taped, the object is then placed into a cabinet and exposed to an abrasive material which etches into the glass/material. You will notice there are different effects on offer here at Groovy Glass. Our fully frosted with clear artwork and also clear glass with frosted artwork. The latter also allows us to produce coloured lettering which is an extension of the sandblasting by adding an acrilic paint to create a different effect yet again. These processes are very time consuming and each glass is done individually, making it very labour intensive.

How is the glassware printed?
We use the pad printing system which provides a very effective finish and is also very durable. We do not however recommend constant dishwasher use for this range.

How much should I spend on my Bridal Party Gifts?

This is a very broad range and is entirely up to the individual. We have one off personalised wedding party gifts starting at just $15, but most of our couples spend a minimum of $30. If your budget is more generous, you can team other gifts with your personlaised glassware.

How much should I spend on my bomboniere/wedding favours?
Again this is entirely up to the individual, depending on how many guests you have, the location of your wedding and how far your guests have travelled etc. We have personalised bomboniere printed with your names and the date of your wedding starting at just $3.25ea and we have some great printed satin bags and boxes for fantastic prices as well.

Can I obtain a sample of your Printed/Etched Personalised Bomboniere items?
You can obtain a sample of some of our personlalised bomboniere items including printed/etched tealights and glassware. They will however be excess stock we already have made up, not your names and design. Unfortunately we cannot send samples of any personalised boxes, ribbon, napkins etc. Please email us at sales@weddingglasses.com.au if you are interested in obtaining a sample.

Should I order exact numbers of Bomboniere items according to my Guest List?
We usually recommend ordering an extra 5 to 10% just to cover yourself for any extra last minute guests. You don't want to be be 1 or 2 short on the day. 

Do I receive a proof of the artwork for my glassware before my order is made?
Yes, for all personalised glassware orders you will (not boxes, bags, ribbons). Once you have made your payment, you will receive a proof of artwork which you need to authorize before we go ahead and make your order.

Why am I required to pay before I recieve my proof?

Drafting up proofs is a time consuming process, therefore we will only begin work on pre-paid orders. We have hundreds of images online for you to look at and compare, and you can change your proofs as many times as you wish. If by some chance you are not happy with your proof or our service, we will give you a full refund at any time.


What happens if I change my mind after placing my order?
We are more than happy to organise changes for you if you have changed your mind, as long as your order has not already be made. This will however incur a $2.50 administration fee if there are additional charges.



When is a good time to order my wedding party gifts?
Four to six weeks prior to you wedding is a good time, but you can order your bridal party gifts as early as you like. As long as your date has been confirmed, you have chosen your wedding party members and they have accepted, you are fine to go ahead and place your order. Last minute orders can also be filled most of the time for bridal party gifts however extra charges may apply.

When is a good time to order my wedding favours/bomboniere?
Six to eight weeks prior to your wedding or soon as you have confirmed guest numbers is a good time to order as some of these items may not be in stock all of the time. If you are running a little late, please contact us anyway as we can fill last minute orders most of the time. Please note there may be 20% surcharge for urgent orders which need to be dispatched within 21 days.

Can you print the individual names or titles of my guests/wedding party on my Printed Tealights or Glassware to use as Bomboniere?
Unfortunately, due to the process that we use to print our items, we are unable to do this. We use one template for our printed items which only allows us to print one design on to the items. We can however apply a vinyl decal with each guests name on the opposite side of the tealight holder for an extra charge. This option is available on the product page when ordering. You can also handwrite your guest names in a matching glass paint pen, which can be found at your local craft shop or use a label maker with clear tape and apply that to each tealight holder.

What if you don't have the graphic that I'm after?
Please do not hesitate to email us at sales@weddingglasses.com.au with your concerns as we do have more graphics and fonts on file. If there is a specific graphic that you have we may just be able to use it. Please forward your artwork in a black and white format in a jpeg or bitmap file, and fairly high resolution to sales@weddingglasses.com.au and we can let you know if we can use it. Please note that there may be an additional artwork charge, but we will always discuss this with you before we go ahead withy your order.

Do I have to get my Wedding Party Glasses gift packaged?
You do not have to have your Wedding Party glasses gift packaged any more. Simply choose no in the drop down menu titled Would you like Gift Packaging? If you would like to have your glasses gift packaged, please choose your colour of preference from this drop down menu. The Cart will automatically charge the additional amount per glass to your order. Please note the prices in the drop down menu are GST Exclusive, however the GST is added on once placed in the Cart.

How should I display my Wedding Party glasses at my wedding?
Many people choose to display their glasses in the coloured box it arrives in, however the glasses look just as stunning on their own. For display ideas, check out our Photo Gallery where previous couples have displayed our glasses beautifully at their own wedding.


Is the Etched Finish Permanent?
Absolutely! The superior finish on our etched glassware is 100% permanent and will NEVER come off, unlike painted or printed glassware.

How durable is the printed Bomboniere?
Our printed bomboniere/favours are pad printed and very durable, although we do not recommend dishwasher use.

Can I find out a quote of my order without placing payment?
On our website, you are able to create a dummy order without having to login/register or pay for anything at the end. Simply choose an item and fill out the quantity and click the 'Add to Cart' button. On the right hand side and at the top of the screen you will see the total amount of the products in your cart. Once you have worked out your total price for your order, you are able to send your items to the rubbish. If you are having any troubles putting items into your cart, or finding a certain price please do not hesitate to email or call us.

How long will my order take?
We can usually make our personalised glassware for the bridal party within 48 hours from recieving the confirmed proof, therefore they will usually be shipped within days. Printed or etched glassware for bomboniere will generally take longer (3-4 weeks) as it depends on stock availability and quantity runs. Occassionally there may be a delay while waiting for an out of stock product, but you will be notified immediately if this is the case for your order! (N.B. If you live in Western Australia please allow at least an extra 5 days to receive your order due to freight time)

How will I know when to expect delivery?
You will recieve an email from us on the day your order is despatched, so you know approximately when to expect delivery.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally, but as these prices can vary dramatically we must quote each order individually. Please place your order online and choose your country of residence, the cart will calculate your Shipping Cost at $0.00. We will then quote a shipping cost once we have received your order and notify you via Email of this additional price as soon as possible. If you are happy with the quote we will move to the next stage of the order process and if not you may cancel your order at this time. What happens if an item is broken in transit?
Breakages are EXTREMELY rare, but if something is broken, we replace it immediately as high priority for your peace of mind. Simply email us at sales@weddingglasses.com.au   if there is a breakage and we will endeavour to send you a replacement asap. Please note that in some cases we will require you to return the broken item to us for insurance purposes, so if possible, please keep the glass until we have discussed details.
