The Unity Sand Ceremony is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to the 'Unity Candle Ceremony'. The two outer vases are filled with two differently coloured sands of your own choice representing the Bride and the Groom. They are then poured into the central vase firstly by the groom, then the bride, and then together to create a layered effect. This represents the joining of the Bride and Groom. These vases can be kept as a permanant reminder in the home as a wonderful memory and the side vases can be used to display flower arrangements or coloured sand and rocks.
